Eurovia, a Vinci Group subsidiary, confirms 31% fuel savings in a same-day HHydrOdrive verification test

We’re pleased to share another independently verified fuel-savings result — this time with Eurovia, part of the global Vinci Group. The controlled, same-day performance test was carried out on one of Eurovia’s low-loaders, fully loaded to maximum GVW.

The test followed Hydrogenica’s standard Performance Test Protocol, with representatives from both Eurovia and Hydrogenica jointly supervising each stage.

At the end of the test, when asked by his supervisor “What’s the result?”, the Eurovia driver replied spontaneously:
“Not quite sure — but I paid £30 less for the same 62 miles with HHydrOdrive on.”

For context, the vehicle was refuelled both times at motorway prices of £1.699 per litre (including VAT). Even without this unusually high fuel price, the saving would still have been around £22 (ex-VAT) over the same 62 miles. Still not bad, right?

The bottom line: the verified reduction in fuel consumption was 31.17%, formally documented and signed by both parties.
